In 2011, the Poker Face hitmaker threatened legal action against London-based company The Lickators for selling an unusual flavour named Baby Gaga, and now they have received another warning from her legal team after launching a product named Royal Baby Gaga.
The flavour was unveiled in May (15) to mark the birth of royal baby Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, but Gaga's lawyers have accused the firm of copyright infringement.
They have ordered the company to stop using the name and remove all references to 'Royal Baby Gaga' from social media within 14 days.
The Lickators representative Nadine O'Connor tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Neither (product) names nor features Lady GaGa, nor are her trademarks infringed... We will not be bullied into removing content from social media relating to our product and subsequent media coverage. However, we will send complimentary tubs of our ice cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to, as a gesture of peace and goodwill."
