Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney Engaged: Pop Star Serves As Bridesmaid For Friend's Wedding,

Not only did she put on a stunning performance at the Oscars this year, but she also got engaged to her fiance, Tayler Kinney. And that's not the only wedding she was needing to prepare for- she served as a bridesmaid for one of her good friends on Friday.

Us Weekly posted a snapshot of Gaga as she donned an elegant lavender gown and held flowers at the special ceremony that took place in New Orleans. While the singer is known for having some bizarre styles, she kept it classy and simple for the wedding as she let her blonde hair flow down and held onto the bouquet.

Gaga also posted some shots on her Instagram page, including one where she looked like a model from the 1960's. In a car selfie, she wears unique sunglasses and a hat where she mentioned that she was having some brunch with the bride.
In an earlier photo, the pop star posted a pic of her fancy shoes where a glimpse of her engagement ring can be seen as well. The caption shows how glad Gaga is glad to see her friend tie the knot and how grateful she is to experience moments like that.
"Watching your best friend get married, these are the specialist times in my life," she wrote. "Seeing happiness in the lives of all my friends."

ven Mama Monster has to say yes to a pastel bridesmaid dress when one of her besties is walking down the aisle: Lady Gaga wore a floor-length lavender gown when a high school friend swapped vows on Friday night.

She paired the dress—I think it’s Jenny Yoo’s convertible gown in Wisteria—with minimal makeup and kept her locks (blonde, today) loose. For a gal who’s worn a meat dress and popped up on one red carpet in an egg, she looks surprisingly low key—a lot like you probably look like in a pastel bridesmaid dress.

Lady GaGa wants her wedding to be ''a family celebration.''
The 'Bad Romance' hitmaker, who got engaged to actor Taylor Kinney on Valentine's Day (14.02.15) after four years of dating, plans to serve her guests food from her parents' Italian restaurant in New York City, Joanne Trattoria, and wants her relatives to take key roles in her big day.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: ''She's just coming up with ideas now.
''She's asked her sister Natali to be the maid of honour, and her dad can't wait to walk her down the aisle.
''They want it to be a family celebration.''
The 28-year-old star, who is said to be eager to tie the knot at her $23 million mansion in Malibu, California later this year, has also started making her guest-list and plans to invite her good friend Sir Elton John, 67, to the event, as well as Tony Bennett.
The blonde singer - whose real name is Stefani Germanotta - released an album of duets, 'Cheek to Cheek,' with Tony last year and is said to have asked him to perform the title track at her reception.
Gaga recently revealed she started crying when 'Chicago Fire' star Taylor proposed.
She said: ''First he gave me a Ring Pop. That was kind of amazing and I was crying, I was so excited.
'I said, 'Yes!' right away and then he pulled out the heart-shaped diamond. First it was candy. I was happy with the candy.''
