Lady Gaga Offers Career Advice To Church Choir Singer

Pop superstar Lady GaGa gave a church choir singer a major boost by offering up career advice after seeing her perform at a church in a small Pennsylvania town while attending a service with her actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
The Poker Face singer was among the congregation at the Grandview United Methodist Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Sunday (28Dec14) for a family baptism.
Church choir member Liz Fulmer, who performed a solo during the service, reveals she was nervous about singing in front of an international pop star, and was later shocked to receive a text message from Gaga.
She tells Lancasteronline.com, "During the song, it's like she wasn't there. Then I got nervous again when I was done. People from the church told me that she whispered to her boyfriend that I was good...(The text message read) 'Hi Liz, it's Gaga. You were sensational. Keep up the amazing work'."
Fulmer goes on to reveal Gaga offered to give her advice on launching a music career. She adds, "It was a very generous offer... She's a songwriter at heart. It was all very serendipitous for me. I really am a huge fan."

Lady Gaga swaps one sheer bodysuit for another. The star was spotted in a sheer catsuit with roses strategically placed to protect her modesty, and atop scary pink platforms, on her birthday in New York. She then slipped into another sheer suit with black and white patterns, teamed with towering white platforms.

Lady Gaga managed to channel both Liberace and Super Mario's Bowser in one day while out and about in NYC. She wore a pink sequinned suit and matching hat before changing into a grungy black ensemble with spikes and a ski-style mask.

Gaga wears what looks like an extreme version of Cheryl Cole's recent 'X Factor return' black mesh dress (with added leather fringing), accessorised with a black headpiece as she leaves her hotel in London.

She then steps out in a bizarre bright blue number with blue visor, plastic hat and white lace leather gloves.

Gaga casually steps out in the English capital wearing lace underwear as outerwear, a Kimono-style top and chap-style trousers, teamed with crystal glasses. She's also pictured in a metallic bra-top and pink PVC trousers and purple aviators in NYC.

What we're really surprised about from this Gaga outfit is that it isn't surprising at all and, at first glance, we didn't realise that it was indeed the star. And she's practically wearing flat shoes, which is almost unprecedented for Gaga...

But she was back in full costume mode in this gold and white number that almost obscured her face, a pair of pink rubber gloves and floral platforms in New York last week.

Lady Gaga donned an all-white creation for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and wore dreadlocks and fake plastic teeth during her performance with Zedd at the iTunes Festival earlier this month in Austin, Texas.

Bald Lady Gaga posts bizarre topless snap, takes tips from fellow controversial pop star Britney Spears

FIRST Britney Spears, now Lady Gaga – it seems she's taking tips from her fellow former controversial pop star.
And strangely enough, the bald chic look appears to suit her much more than any of her wild and wacky wigs.

The 28-year-old sparked whispers of pregnancy recently [Rex]

"Your heart is filled with vanity, mine insanity," the singer captioned her bizarre snap.
But the weirdness didn't stop there.
In the picture, Gaga appeared to be completely topless while showing off her new hairless style.
But luckily she covered up her modesty with her arms – and a bunch of wigs.

Lady Gaga is the new face of Shiseido

Lady GaGa is the new face of Shiseido.
The 'Bad Romance' hitmaker - who is known for her controversial looks both on and off stage - will front the cosmetics brand's 2015 New Year's ad campaign which will be shown exclusively in Japan.
Not only will the 28-year-old singer star in the adverts she will also act as photographer as the campaign is comprised of 50 selfies - with each one making its debut in a different Japanese newspaper throughout the New Year period.
The first 46 images will be printed on Thursday January 1 while the remaining four images will be released on Monday January 5. The images will run in both regional and national titles.
However, Gaga fans across the globe will be left disappointed as, according to WWD, Shiseido has no plans to use the stunning campaign outside of Europe.
Meanwhile, Gaga recently starred alongside legendary singer Tony Bennet in H&M's Christmas campaign.
The brunette beauty and the 88-year-old crooner - who released their duet album 'Cheek to Cheek' earlier this year - starred in a festive TV ad for the high street retailer in which they performed 'It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)' from the number 1 record.

Lady Gaga: Topless and Bald on Instagram!

There's nothing all that exciting about topless Lady Gaga photos. The Mother Monster has been appearing in public in various stages of undress for about as long as she's been famous.
In fact, thanks to those giant sunglasses she used to rock, we're pretty sure we saw her boobs before we ever saw her face in its entirety.
Still, there's a new and interesting aspect to her latest Instagram photo, as Gaga apparently decided to give "topless" a whole different meaning:

That's Gaga without the giant hairpieces she's been rocking lately. It's impossible to tell if her head is shaved or her hair is just pulled back in a really tight bun, but either way, we feel like we shouldn't be seeing this.
Catching the singer without one of her trademark fright wigs is like seeing Stephen Colbert break character.
But perhaps we shouldn't be surprised, as Gaga has been reaching Madonna-like levels of late-career desperation recently.
Gaga's latest album did alright on the charts, but she's is nothing like the pop cultural force that was Lady Gaga just a few short years ago.
That's why we've had Gaga flashing her naked butt on Instagram. That's why we've been receiving subtle social media hints that Gaga married Taylor Kinney.
It's all part of an effort to keep her personal life interesting, as her music continues to grow stale.

Lady Gaga petition urges her to 'stop glamorising bulimia'

Lady Gaga is the target of a new online petition asking her to "stop glamorising bulimia".

The singer was joined on stage by British performance artist and 'vomit painter' Millie Brown during her show at SXSW in Austin, Texas last week.

During a performance of 'Swine', Brown threw up over Lady Gaga after sticking her fingers down her throat.

A petition titled 'Lady Gaga: Stop Glamorizing Bulimia!' has been launched on The Petition Site and has so far gained 9,817 signatures.

"Pop star Lady Gaga once struggled with bulimia, but now she is glamorising the eating disorder," the petition reads.

In a March 13 performance at the South by Southwest Music Festival, performance artist Millie Brown intentionally vomited green liquid on Lady Gaga's cleavage, then crawled on top of her and vomited again, this time black goo.

"The pop star then continued her performance covered in the disgusting liquid."

They added: "This stunt was clearly intended to be provocative, tasteless and to create a media buzz around Lady Gaga.

"She has pulled similar stunts in the past, for example when she wore meat and fur garments to provoke animal rights supporters. But in this case, she should be more sensitive, having suffered from bulimia in the past."

They concluded: "Please sign the petition to ask Lady Gaga to end her professional relationship with Millie Brown and to stop using imagery that could trigger fans struggling with eating disorders!"

Demi Lovato criticised Lady Gaga for the SXSW performance stunt, saying: "It's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all."

Lady GaGa Has the Happiest Day Ever on Christmas

Lady GaGa has sent a Christmas greeting to Little Monsters. On Thursday evening, December 25, the "You and I" hitmaker posted on Twitter and Facebook, "Merry Christmas monsters, today has been the happiest day of my life. Have a peaceful and healthy holiday."
It's unclear what made her so happy. The 28-year-old singer/songwriter was still working earlier the day, appearing on "Good Morning America" to perform "Winter Wonderland" with Tony Bennett. The song is featured in their duet album "Cheek to Cheek".

Last Thanksgiving, GaGa got to spend some quality time with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney. She sent a video message via Instagram, saying, "Happy Thanksgiving little monsters. I love you so much and there's nothing that I'm more thankful for than having you in my life," before the "Chicago Fire" actor playfully hit her in the head with a pillow.

Lady Gaga Speaks On Singers Who Don't Write Songs

Lady Gaga has opened up about her views on songwriters who don't write their own music. During a recent interview with Yahoo, Gaga said that some singers can get away with not writing their own music, but only if they have exceptional ability.
"If you're not gonna write your own music you better be able to blow," she said.
"Because if you can't blow, there's no reason to do the job. But then you think about artists that can't really sing, that have songs written for them, and it's like, well why are they artists?"
She went on to reveal that over the course of her career she has written about 90 percent of her own material.
Gaga's most recent creative effort is a covers album called Cheek to Cheek with legendary crooner Tony Bennett.

Lady Gaga Has An Opinion On Singers Who Don’t Write Their Own Music

How could you not love the effortlessly talented popstar, Lady Gaga. The singer does and says whatever she wants and is highly respected for it.
In a recent interview with Yahoo, Lady Gaga has an opinion on singers who don’t pen their own lyrics. The star even goes as far as questioning why they continue to pursue their careers. Gaga, who has released four albums and a fifth set to release in a few months, reveals she writes 90 percent of her music before ranting about those that don’t.

“If you’re not gonna write your own music you better be able to blow. Because if you can’t blow, there’s no reason to do the job. But then you think about artists that can’t really sing, that have songs written for them, and it’s like, well why are they artists? Why are companies paying money to promote them? Because they’re beautiful and look good on camera and are kinda-sorta singing along? It’s like karaoke for pretty girls. When you’re a singer-songwriter it doesn’t really matter if you’re beautiful. What matters is that you create a relationship with your fans, and they care what you have to say.”
