It's scary how much information we're getting about American Horror Story: Hotel this week. (See what I did there?) The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly features a ton of pictures of the new season, plus they revealed more information than ever about the plot. Star Lady Gaga has been tweeting out pictures from her photo shoot, and one in particular unveils a shocking detail about her character: the Countess is a mother!
That's right, Lady Gaga's character has her own little monsters. We knew the Countess drinks blood (though Murphy doesn't love the term "vampire"), and she has been in a sexy longterm relationship with Donovan (Matt Bomer), but this is the first time we're hearing about her bloodthirsty spawn. They're already terrifying.

American Horror Story Hotel: Jessica Lange to return, Lady Gaga confirmed as 'bloodsucker'

When Jessica Lange announced that Freak Show was going to be her last run on American Horror Story way back in 2013, everyone went into a frenzy. People took to Twitter to exclaim the show just wouldn't be the same without her while others resorted to pure denial, arguing that she'll probably return at some point down the line even though she had previously stated she was "done with AHS."
Well, it turns out the latter weren't so far off the mark after all as showrunner Ryan Murphy has revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that her return to the series is "always possible". Adding even more fuel to the fire, the 49-year-old creator also said: "She'll be back -- she's not gone forever. She wants to come back, we just have to come up with something."
As if that revelation wasn't enough for hardcore fans to get excited about, in the same interview, Murphy gave a little insight into new lead, Lady Gaga's character, confirming that she will be playing a form of "bloodsucker" that will be several hundred years old.
"I prefer the term 'ancient blood virus,'" he told EW. "It's not vampires. It's really a form of haemophilia in a way. There's no capes and fangs. She is sort of a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people. She has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode."
A show insider also explained a bit about Elizabeth (Gaga): "Her character is the hotel owner and the mother of 10 identical vampires who are eight-years-old. They're played by children and are very creepy!"

Lady Gaga’s ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Countess Is Revealed: See The Bloody Pic

We’ve known for weeks now that Lady Gaga will be playing a woman called “Countess” on “American Horror Story: Hotel,” but until now, her look has remained a total mystery. (Except for the occasional on-set paparazzi shot, of course. Gaga loves that “Paparazzi!”)
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now know what the Countess will look like — and what she’ll eat, which is human blood. (““It’s really a form of hemophilia, in a way,” creator Ryan Murphy says.)
Gaga’s EW spread also reveals that some of the “Hotel” story — specifically, Evan Peters’ story — will take place in the 1930s, as the “deeply psychotic” James March built the Cortez as a labyrinth-like structure to hide his murderous activities. Gaga’s Countess is part of the modern day story of the hotel, along with her two lovers, Donovan (Matt Bomer) and the Tristan (Finn Wittrock).
Also floating around the Los Angeles-based Cortez will be “Ramona Royale (Angela Bassett), an actress/former lover of The Countess’ seeking revenge; Iris (Kathy Bates), Donovan’s mother and the front desk clerk; Liz Taylor (Denis O’Hare), a cross-dresser nicknamed by The Countess; Hypodermic Sally (Sarah Paulson), a junkie and friend of The Countess; Detective John Lowe (Wes Bentley), a cop investigating a murderer named the Ten Commandments Killer; and The Addiction Demon, a creature in the vein of Rubberman or Bloodyface, who has no eyes or mouth but does wield a nasty, conical drillbit dildo.”
So basically, those teasers we saw last week for the series revealed a whole lot more than we initially thought, offering up a glimpse at both Gaga’s blood-gloves and the nightmare-fuel addiction demon:

Lady Gaga may sue breast milk ice cream makers

Recording artist Lady Gaga is threatening to sue a London-based ice cream company for naming a new product "Royal Baby Gaga" in honor of the British royal family's newest addition.
Reports say the "Born This Way" singer is claiming trademark infringement against The Licktators for naming their latest vanilla-flavored breast milk ice cream after her. The ice cream is fashioned from donated human breast milk reportedly screened along hospital standards.

A spokesperson from The Licktators says the company will oppose the claims Gaga -- real name Stefani Germanotta -- placed against them.
In a statement, the artisan ice cream makers say that they will not deter from marketing their product, which hit shelves in May. According to Licktators, the Royal Baby Gaga product "neither names nor features Lady Gaga, or infringes the mark 'Lady Gaga.'"
"We are sending complimentary tubs of our ice cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to as a gesture of peace and goodwill," the company said.
Gaga sued The Licktators once before, in 2011 for another breast milk snack then called "Baby Gaga."

Lady Gaga models bridal looks ahead of Taylor Kinney wedding

Lady Gaga recently modeled bridal looks for CR Fashion Book.
The 29-year-old singer sported two very different outfits for the magazine's latest issue, which hits newsstands Sept. 3. Lady Gaga wore an all-white ensemble with tulle veil, and an Iron Maiden shirt with black skirt and fascinator.
The spread was shot by noted fashion photographer Bruce Weber, who is known for his work with Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. CR Fashion Book is the latest project of Carine Roitfeld, who served as Vogue Paris editor-in-chief from 2001 to 2011.
The photos come ahead of Lady Gaga's wedding to fiancé and Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney. The couple got engaged in February, and the singer previously told Women's Wear Daily her wedding dress will "totally be for" the 34-year-old star.

Lady Gaga last released Cheek to Cheek with Tony Bennett in September 2014, and has her fifth studio album in the works. The singer is also slated to star as a hotel owner on American Horror Story: Hotel, and threw a blood-red pool party for the cast over the past weekend.

The first images have been released of the pop goddess on set for season five of American Horror Story.
The photographs and video – captured last week outside the Los Angeles County Museum of Art – show Lady Gaga looking glamorous in a fitted, pink dress and platforms.

Some fans have since begun to question if her outfit is a reflection of the potential 50’s theme of American Horror Story: Hotel – however, the synopsis for the show states that the series is to be set in the modern day.
Earlier this month, the show’s co-creator, Ryan Murphy, revealed details of the Born This Way singer’s “evil character” – who will also be bisexual.
“Her character’s name is Elizabeth. She owns the hotel,” he teased. “She is a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art, fashion and people, and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode that plays out over the season.”
“She has nefarious plans revealed in the first episode, and plays out over the course of the season.”
Asked about LGBT storylines in the show, Murphy replied: “Lady Gaga plays a character who has relationships with Matt [Bomer] and Angela [Bassett] and Cheyenne [Jackson].
Openly gay Bomer said his character Donovan was “closely associated with Ms Gaga… and he has very interesting relationships with the lady folk in his life.”

Sarah Paulson Is Lady Gaga 'Super Fan'

Sarah Paulson feels like a "dog in a window panting" around Lady Gaga.
The 'American Horror Story' actress is a self-confessed "super fan" of the 'Applause' hitmaker, who is set to play the lead role in the new season of the show.
Sarah, who has appeared in the last four seasons, enthused: "I am just such a super fan. I need to tone it down. I need to start playing it really cool.
"We all know that everybody who likes somebody, that they have to play a little hard to get ... I'm just like a dog in a window panting, waiting to be around her. It's just really pathetic."
The actress thinks Gaga will be "incredible" in her first major TV acting role. Gaga has previously had small parts in movies 'Machete Kills' and 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For'.
Co-star Sarah told Deadline.com: "I'm in awe of her talent and I really think she's going to be an incredible addition to the show. I just think she's a perfect fit. I can't wait to have that experience [of working with her]. But you know, I'm a fan before I'm anything else, that's for sure."

Lady Gaga Communicates in Song

Lady Gaga uses song to communicate with her fiance.
The 'Alejandro' hitmaker admits she finds it difficult to express her feelings, so often composes music so that Taylor Kinney can understand her point of view.
She said: "I'm much better at communicating through my work. Sometimes I feel like, even with my fiancé, I'll tell him I feel a certain way, but then he understands me better if I create a song and play it for him. I wrote a song for him the other day and it really sat with him because it was something I couldn't say with words, only through song."
Gaga admits there is often pressure on her to look "perfect" but she is more interested in establishing longevity and continuing to love her work.
Speaking to the September issue of CR Fashion Book, she said: "As a 29-year-old girl, at this stage in my pop career everybody goes, 'Oh she's getting old,' and everybody's so worried about having a perfect body, a perfect face, and perfect hair.
"When, you know, actually, legacy and longevity is about having some sort of story and footprint to leave in the world when you die, chasing your talent until you're dead. And that, as an artist, you love your art 'til death."
And the 'Poker Face' hitmaker admits her outlook is very different to what she was told to expect when she was younger, even though she has never been interested in being "trendy".
She added: "It's the antithesis of what I was taught growing up, which is that at this age I would have to fight in order to continue to look young, in order to continue to be trendy. When, you know, I never was trendy. I was always anti-trend."

Do Not Name Your Breast Milk Ice Cream After Lady Gaga (Or Do?)

Lady Gaga is threatening to sue a British ice cream company The Licktators for manufacturing a human breast milk-based ice cream called “Royal Baby Gaga.” While her reps have declined to comment on the matter, Gaga’s attorneys have reportedly sent a cease and desist to the company citing trademark infringement.

Royal Baby Gaga actually has nothing to do with Lady Gaga and was released to celebrate the birth of Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton. According to The Mirror, Lady Gaga also sued The Licktators in 2011 over their first issue of breast milk ice cream, called Baby Gaga. Seems about time for her to suckle at the teat of CHILL.

In her upcoming memoir (???), Stephanie Pratt, sister of Spencer Pratt, writes that she spent much of her teen years doing crystal meth. (To be fair, who didn’t!) “I was 14 or 15 [when I first smoked it],” she writes. “I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly. [I smoked] probably four times before school, then at snack... probably 12 or 13 times a day...I didn’t care about anything. I could live or die, I didn’t care. I had nothing to get out of bed for, nothing was exciting.

Lady Gaga Hosts Party For 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Cast - Find Out Who Attended!

Lady Gaga threw a house party for her "American Horror Story: Hotel" cast members over the weekend, and apparently it wasn't a typical get-together, because the singer made an effort to decorate her house -- and even dyed her pool blood red -- just for the event.
"A bloody pool for the cast, sorry #AHSfans, there's few pictures. At my parties, killer friends have more fun, when no evidence is left behind," Mother Monster wrote on Instagram along with a photo of her red-hued swimming pool.
Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and Cheyenne Jackson were among Gaga's castmates who attended the party. Series co-creator Ryan Murphy was also present at the event.
"Last night I had a dream that the 'HOTEL 'cast went to Gaga's house and at midnight swam in her pool that she dyed blood red just for us," Murphy tweeted.
In a follow-up post, however, Murphy revealed that it wasn't really a dream. "Wait a minute, that was no dream ...THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED," he wrote.
Paulson, who plays drug addict Hypodermic Sally in "Hotel," replied to Murphy's tweet, writing, "@MrRPMurphy WAIT. I HAD THE SAME DREAM..."

DM Nation Tackles Lady Gaga In Church

The 14-member all-female synchronized dance troupe DM Nation is performing live at Radio City Music Hall on America’s Got Talent. They’ve worked hard to get to New York City. Last year they won first place at the World of Dance competition in Boston.
DM Nation is known for its almost military like, turbo-charged synchronized performances but every once and a while the dancers reveal a softer side. On YouTube, DM Nation posted a video of a performance in a gilded church dancing to Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s duet “Let’s Face the Music and Dance.” It is an odd juxtaposition but it works, right? Will the ladies remove their black suits and hats at Radio City? America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.

Lady Gaga Threatens Royal Baby Ice Cream Company with Lawsuit

A British ice cream maker with a provocative name and product has crossed another provocateur, and now they’re being threatened with a lawsuit by Lady Gaga over their Royal Baby Gaga ice cream.

According to The Independent, Lady Gaga has threatened to sue The Licktators, a British ice cream company that started producing an ice cream called Royal Baby Gaga in April in honor of the second royal baby. The ice cream is a very niche product made from donated human breast milk, but Lady Gaga’s people are not happy about it, possibly because she’d rather use it to make a dress for herself. 1681]

This is not the first time Lady Gaga has threatened an ice cream company. In 2011 she also threatened to sue London’s The Icecreamists for producing their “Baby Gaga” breast milk ice cream.

Lady Gaga’s lawyers have given The Licktators 14 days to stop using the name and remove all references to it from social media, but The Licktators do not seem inclined to comply.

Lady Gaga is threatening to sue BREAST MILK ice-cream company for stealing her name

Lady Gaga has threatened to sue a London based company, The Licktators, for using her name to title one of their products – breast milk ice cream, nonetheless.
Well, her stage name. Her real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, obvs.
Her lawyers are allegedly citing trademark infringements against the company for naming their special edition flavour Royal Baby Gaga, which was brought out to mark the birth of Princess Charlotte in May.

The ice cream that’s got Gaga in a twist (we thought this kind of thing would be right up her street, actually) is made using human breast milk (as opposed to cow breast milk, which is just milk) that is donated then screened in line with hospital standards before being whipped up and frozen.
And it comes in a tub featuring a breastfeeding woman on the front, who looks suspiciously like Duchess Kate herself, just in case you miss it.
Anyway, Gaga’s solicitors think that the product could be mistaken for an official Lady Gaga product and lead people to believe the use of her name has been authorised.
But a spokesperson from The Licktators, Nadine O’Connor – AKA “General Custard" – told The Mirror that the sweet treat “neither names nor features Lady Gaga, nor are her trademarks infringed.
“We will not be bullied into removing content from social media relating to our product and subsequent media coverage."
Gaga’s people are requesting that all offending words are removed from social media and for them to no longer be in use within 14 days.
General Custard went on: "However, we will send complimentary tubs of our ice cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to, as a gesture of peace and goodwill.”

Pop Star Lady Gaga Has Reignited A Legal Battle With The Company Behind An Ice Cream Made From Breast Milk After Accusing Bosses Of Appropriating Her Stage Name

Cringe! Lady Gaga takes a major tumble in front of paparazzi

LADY Gaga has fallen over in front of the paparazzi more times than we can count.
The Applause singer apparently hasn't learned her lesson however, as it's gone and happened yet again.

While leaving a restaurant in LA with her friend and Real Housewives star Lisa Vanderpump, the singer took a major tumble as she attempted to get into her car.
She was left red-faced as she clutched to the side of the retro vehicle before someone kindly jumped in to help her the diva back onto her feet.

Maybe this will teach other celebs that wearing shades at night isn't really necessary. Tone down the diva, guys.  It looked like Gaga took Taylor Swift's advice, as she appeared to shake off the embarrassing incident as she stepped into the car and resumed looking totally glam.

What a recovery.
Gaga isn't the only celebrity to take a fall recently.
The legendary Mariah Carey recently slipped and almost took a disastrous tumble down a flight of stairs in front of her new boyfriend, James Packer.
Nick Cannon's ex also happened to be wearing sunglasses, we're starting to see a trend here. But fashion is pain, right?

Lady Gaga teases her role on AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL!
International pop superstar Lady Gaga stars in the new season of FX's hit horror anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY, subtitled HOTEL, and the multi-hyphenate updated her Instagram account this weekend with several new photos depicting her preparation for the headlining role as well as changing her moniker to reflect her character's name on the series.
Gaga's Instagram account is now registered to "The Countess" and described as, "Owner of 'Hotel' Cortez in Los Angeles".
Additionally, Gaga has posted several photos of her ongoing preparation for the part of Countess Elizabeth, first sharing a red bespectacled photo and commenting, "The Countess here," and then sharing another pic with the leather accented look, remarking, "Good night Donovan."
Also, Gaga shared some of her beauty regimen in getting camera-ready for the FX series, posting a photo of herself getting hair highlights treatment while also sharing a look at her recent dermatological visit, sharing, "Never a dull moment with Simon, getting ready for the small screen with the master."

According to a new report by EW that was released this weekend, available here, creator Ryan Murphy says of Gaga's character, "Her character's name is Elizabeth. American Horror Story: Hotel’s Angela Bassett to Play Lady Gaga’s Lover

There’s very little we know about Lady Gaga’s upcoming role in American Horror Story: Hotel, but creator Ryan Murphy just dished one thing: her character gets around — a lot.

During the TCA panel on August 7 Ryan blabbed that Lady Gaga will have a host of lovers on Season 5 of the anthology series including Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Finn Wittrock, oh, and Angela Bassett.

“She’s quite a busy lady,” Ryan revealed, later adding the relationships will all be “sexual.”

In speaking of his character’s relationship with Gaga’s Elizabeth, Finn explained that male model Tristan Duffy is a man, “who’s always looking for the next high. He finds the biggest high in Lady Gaga. We have a lot to do together. She sees all of me.”

Matt Bomer added his character, Donovan, is “a denizen of the Hotel. I’m closely associated with Ms. Gaga and Ms. Bates and Mr. Wittrock, amongst others. He has very interesting relationships with the lady folk in his life. I’ll leave it at that,” while Angela relayed that her character, Ramona Royale has “a very strong, real, lasting relationship with [Lady Gaga’s] character,” adding, “So I’m sure I’ll be at odds with [Finn] down there. My character is this fabulous actress of the day. I don’t live at the hotel, but I visit very often.”

Lady Gaga’s ‘nefarious’ role in TV horror show

The singer will appear in the fifth season of the award-winning horror anthology, which sees a recurring cast of actors take on different roles in different stories in each season.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has made big screen appearances in Machete Kills and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For but this will be her first leading role in such a critically acclaimed series.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy told the Television Critics Association that Lady Gaga will take on the role of hotel owner Elizabeth.

He said: “Elizabeth is a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode and plays out over the course of the season.”
The series will see the return of Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson and Angela Bassett, as well as Chloe Sevigny and Matt Bomer.
Paulson said: “My character is quite dark and sexy. She’s a drug addict, not that drug addicts are sexy but this girl happens to be quite sexy.”The new season is expected to air on Fox in November.

Meryl Streep Sings Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' in 'Ricki and the Flash': Listen

Meryl Streep’s new film Ricki and the Flash features the actress performing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” and a preview of the cover has made it to YouTube.

Streep has already showed off her vocal talent in movies like Into the Woods and Mamma Mia!, but she takes on another musical role in Ricki. The actress plays the title character, a woman who leaves her family to become a rock star. For the part, Streep also covered tracks like Tom Petty's "American Girl" and Bruce Springsteen's "My Love Will Not Let You Down."

According to Entertainment Weekly, only a few seconds of Streep’s “Bad Romance” cover can be heard in the film, but the full song is available on the soundtrack.

As previously reported, Ricki director Jonathan Demme revealed: “We didn’t use playback. We're not sweetening it up on the soundtrack. It's performance! I have to say with our band -- I shouldn't say it, but I want to say what I feel in my heart -- Ricki and the Flash blow away every original."
