Lady Gaga and Foo Fighters
shared the bill at a private concert in San Diego last night (January
8) at the Belly Up, alongside Aloe Blacc and Gaga’s duet partner, the
legendary Tony Bennett.
The bash was in aid of William Morris Endeavor, one of the world’s leading talent agencies - and the company
that represents all four artists on the line-up, as well as Bruno Mars, Black Sabbath and Nine Inch Nails.
There had been no prior announcements about the gig, which was not accessible to the general public. In fact, the first anyone really knew of it was when the names of the acts were hung up on the venue’s marquee a few hours in advance.
It’s only a 600-capacity venue, and the lucky attendees will have had
quite the experience seeing stadium-filling acts in such a unique,
intimate environment. In fact, Foo Fighters will be at the Los Angeles
Forum over the weekend playing to 18,000 people
